Aad Hofman (1944 - 2023)

A dead leaf, dried flowers, a rusty piece of iron, wooden planks eroded by wind and rain. The structure of the deteriorated objects determines to a great extent the character of the work. Aad Hofman uses a sober pallet of colours that serves to keep the complexity of patterns in the flowers and leaves in check.
